Lacy is a Senior Manager in Deloitte Tax LLP’s Global Employer Services (GES) Rewards practice. She assists clients address the tax and regulatory issues associated with compensation and providing benefits to their people. She specializes in qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, executive compensation, fringe benefits and health & welfare plan consulting. She has expertise helping companies across a variety of industries design, deliver, communicate, and manage the aspects of their total rewards programs both in the US and abroad. Lacy has experience helping companies develop global or country specific rewards strategies that are aligned with their overall corporate talent strategy and has assisted companies with a variety of strategic rewards related issues during mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, cost reduction, and other corporate events or initiatives.
Service is of the highest importance. Lacy currently leads the Deloitte North Texas Young Professional Business Resource Group. She takes a very proactive approach when it comes to eminence by leading from the front.
Lacy is a zealous advocate of advancing women and promoting diversity and inclusion in the profession. She is an ally of women, children and disadvantaged persons who otherwise have no voice. Lacy is a nationally recognized leader. She is as Past Chair of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, the largest association of its kind in the world, in which she represented the voice of 170,000 young lawyers. She has been appointed to several highly coveted committees and commissions both in the legal profession and Dallas community. Lacy is also an active member of many professional organizations including the Dallas Bar Association, National Bar Association, National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
She is a graduate of Leadership Dallas. Lacy has received numerous awards and accolades including the Dallas Business Journal 40 Under 40, 40 Under 40 Nation’s Best Advocates, Texas Lawyer Extraordinary Minorities in Texas Law, the Dallas Regional Chamber Young Professionals Leadership Athena Award, and Dallas Women’s Foundation Young Leader Award, the Southern University Law Center Distinguished Alumni Award, and the Southern Methodist University Black Alumni Association History Makers Award, just to name a few.
Lacy has earned degrees in Accounting and Finance from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She also holds an MBA from Louisiana Tech University. She also holds a Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center, and a LLM in Taxation from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Louisiana and Texas; she is also a certified mediator and a certified senior-level HR professional.
